A little about me...
My name is Brandi and I am a stay-at-home-mom to my little hip chick, Ella Rae.  During the first year of her life, I became enthralled with the lives of children, their interests, and, of course, their fashion world.  I would spend naptimes in front of the computer looking through children's boutiques on the web.  After seeing hair clips my friend had made for her daughter, I was inspired.  I thought, "Well, maybe I could make clips for Ella too!".  Soon I would find myself knee-deep in ribbon, rhinestones, and hot glue!  Thank you Susan, for being my inspiration.  I never thought it would turn into a business until I saw the response from other people.  I began selling to boutiques and everyone began asking if I had a web site.

So, after extensive research and development, My Hip Chick was created.  And, before I knew it, I became a business owner.  Something that I never knew I wanted or was even capable of doing until Ella arrived.  I couldn't be more thrilled.  And, fulfilling my passion with arts and crafts is just an added bonus.  Not too mention adding a little bling to another child's life is so much fun!

My Hip Chick aprons began when Ella started dabbling into the arts and crafts world of a toddler, aka: markers!  I began looking around for an apron for her, and the only ones I could find screamed "country and old lady", two things I certainly am not into.  So, after coaxing my mother into being my seamstress, we started creating aprons.  After the first one, we were convinced they would be a hit.  And, with the world of cooking and entertaining becoming so widely popular, I feel that everyone deserves to look their best while preparing a meal.

Thank you to all who have helped with my research, my web site, and keeping my sanity through this whole process.  I could not have done it without you!
